Neck Tension gauges – Multiple Calibers

Checking neck tension is vital to making precision ammo, check the accuracy of your dies and ensure a consistent shot round to round and between batches.

Burstfire Neck Tension Gauges is a 5 Step Gauge, in 0.001 increments starting at .001 below bullet dimension. Example: .224 starts at .223 at the bottom, and up to .219. For precision loading, you typically look for 0.001 neck tension. So your case should all stop on the first notch of the gauge (from bottom). If it bottoms out, you likely don’t have enough neck tension. If you can’t insert it on top one (0.219), it means you have more than 0.005 and likely too much neck tension. Does not include a handle – Standard thread to easily screw into many case prep tools, presses and reloading stands.
